50 km of trails are groomed for cross-country skiing (skate and classic) plus there are also about 100 km of backcountry trails. LHSC hosts several events: the Turkey Glide, Santa Cruise, "Moonlight and Valentine" Lantern Skis and the popular Reino Keski-Salmi Loppet. |
PENTICTON
56 km of trails are groomed for cross-country skiing with a Pisten Bully by the Nickel Plate Cross Country Ski Club. The trails are above 1,860 metres so receive plenty of snow. The club hosts the annual Nickel Plate Loppet in early February. |
MERRITT

McCulloch Ski Area
60 km of trails are groomed for cross-country skiing by the Nordic Cross Country Ski Club. There is also 15 km of ungroomed trails. The club offers moonlight ski tours and guided snowshoe trips.
